If at any point in life you lower your standards in order to get ahead in life or you find yourself being fake, not true to yourself, hob knobbing, rubbing elbows, kissing hiny butt…you should really step back and look at your life. I guarantee you, it’s not a life full of meaning or purpose. You do not feel fulfilled or like you are living up to your true potential. At some point you have to realize “you are better than this” and move on. Refuse to “slum it” for an extra dollar or the next rung on the social ladder.
